“MES for Smart Manufacturing” Training
Look back at the “MES for Smart Manufacturing” training course, held on September 29, 2026, at S31 Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok.
The training was jointly organized by ARES International Thailand and IDTI, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) to share practical knowledge and approaches to implementing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) in the manufacturing industry.
The session focused on how MES connects with ERP, APS, and IIoT to integrate production data, improve operational visibility, and support the transformation toward Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
Throughout the training, participants explored key MES concepts and practical applications, including:
• MES fundamentals and its role in Smart Manufacturing
• Real-Time production monitoring and shop-floor data collection
• Production process and work-in-process (WIP) management
• Quality control and production data management
• Connecting ERP, MES, APS, and IIoT
• Using manufacturing data to analyze performance and improve production efficiency
