The Argo ERP system complies with the IFRS 16 financial reporting standard (Leases)
The IFRS 16 standard, effective globally since 2019, requires leases to be recognized as Finance Lease Liabilities. Unlike TAS 17, it mandates that lessees recognize both assets and liabilities for all leases, except for short-term leases under 12 months or low-value assets under 5,000 USD. Lessees must also account for depreciation and interest, rather than just rental expenses as before.
