Many people are familiar with the renowned pineapple cakes from Taiwan, SunnyHills (微熱山丘). These delicacies have become a must-buy souvenir for travelers, cherished by many. SunnyHills places a high priority on consumer safety and hygiene, ensuring its products are manufactured with the utmost care and quality.
Initially, SunnyHills started its business focusing solely on pineapple cakes, which gained immense popularity due to their delicious flavor. As the company expanded domestically and internationally, operational management became increasingly complex. To address these challenges, SunnyHills implemented the ArgoERP system, covering five major areas:
- Procurement Department
- Sales Department
- Warehouse Management
- Accounting Department
- Finance Department
The integration of ArgoERP streamlined management processes, enabling executives to easily access data across departments and international branches. Once the system stabilized, SunnyHills developed new products, including apple cakes, durian cakes, and other varieties. However, these innovations introduced complexities to the production process, with additional production lines and increased operational demands. The existing production systems lacked the efficiency to handle the growing complexity, leading to prolonged problem-solving times and increased production costs.




To overcome these challenges, SunnyHills acquired the ArgoMES system from ARES, which specializes in detailed production data recording. The key functionalities utilized by SunnyHills include:
- LOT Numbers for tracking production batches.
- Production and Expiration Dates to ensure product traceability.
- Oven Temperature Monitoring for each baking cycle, adhering to predefined standards.
- QC of Raw Materials such as flour and milk.
- In-Process QC during production stages.
- Post-Production QC before distribution.
- Additional production-related data for enhanced operational insights.
With the implementation of both ArgoERP and ArgoMES, SunnyHills achieved more efficient operations and production management, marking its transition into Industry 4.0.
